Women’s Health Services

We’re glad to announce that we are now offering women’s health consultations at Castle Medical Centre, Castlebar.

With a special interest in women’s health and over 10 years of experience, Dr. Victoria Moreno provides these consultations with a gentle, patient-centered, and holistic approach, ensuring every woman feels supported and heard.

Services include:

• Long-acting contraception, including IUD (Intrauterine System) and subdermal implant insertions

• Initial menopause assessments and guidance, offering care and reassurance during this transition

• Prolapse assessments and management

Dr. Moreno holds MB BCh, BAO, MICGP, DCH, DGO, and the ICGP Women’s Health Diploma, and is a member of the British Menopause Society. She brings extensive experience and a strong dedication to supporting women’s health at every stage.

This service is also available for local GP referrals for both public and private patients. Self-referrals are also accepted
